Rapthadu Incident: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలో ఉమ్మడి అనంతపురం జిల్లాలోని రాప్తాడు ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలలో శనివారం 10వ తరగతి చదువుతున్న బాలిక మీద ఓ యువకుడు రంపం తో దాడి చేశాడు. ఈ ఘటనలో ఆ బాలిక చేయి తెగింది. తీవ్రంగా గాయాలయ్యాయి. అపస్మారక స్థితికి చేరుకుంది. దీంతో ప్రభుత్వం నేరుగా రంగంలోకి దిగింది. ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు ఎప్పటికప్పుడు పరిస్థితిని సమీక్షించారు. ముందుగా ఆ బాలికకు ఏపీలో చికిత్స అందించారు. ఆ తర్వాత శనివారం రాత్రి గ్రీన్ ఛానల్ ఏర్పాటు చేసి బెంగళూరు తరలించారు.
బెంగళూరు నగరంలోని మనీపాల్ ఆసుపత్రిలో ఆమెకు చికిత్స అందిస్తున్నారు. ఆదివారం విద్యాశాఖ మంత్రి నారా లోకేష్ చెప్పిన వివరాల ప్రకారం.. ఆ బాలికకు శస్త్ర చికిత్స పూర్తయింది. ఆమెను ప్రస్తుతం పీడియాట్రిక్ విభాగంలో ఇంటెన్సివ్ కేర్ యూనిట్లోకి తరలించారు. బాలికను ప్రత్యేకమైన వైద్యుల బృందం పర్యవేక్షిస్తోంది. ఇప్పటికైతే ఆమె ఆరోగ్యం స్థిమితంగా ఉందని.. ఆందోళన చేద్దాల్సిన పనిలేదని తెలుస్తోంది. ఇదే విషయాన్ని ఏపీ విద్యాశాఖ మంత్రి నారా లోకేష్ తెలిపారు.
ఘటన జరిగిన తర్వాత పోలీసులు రంగంలోకి దిగి గంటల వ్యవధిలోనే ఆ దుర్మార్గుడిని పట్టుకున్నారు. అతడిని విచారించడం మొదలుపెట్టారు. ఆ తర్వాత ఫోరెన్సిక్ బృందాలు రంగంలోకి దిగాయి. ఆధారాలు సేకరించాయి. ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు.. హోంశాఖ మంత్రి అనిత ఎప్పటికప్పుడు అధికారులతో సమన్వయం చేసుకున్నారు. బాలిక కుటుంబానికి భరోసా కల్పించారు. ముఖ్యమంత్రి నేరుగా అధికారులతో మాట్లాడి.. బాలిక ప్రాణాలకు ముప్పు లేకుండా చూశారు. ప్రతిపక్ష హోదా దక్కించుకోలేని పార్టీ రకరకాల విమర్శలు చేసినప్పటికీ.. నారా లోకేష్.. చంద్రబాబు.. అనిత వాటిని పట్టించుకోలేదు.
విద్యార్థినికి మెరుగైన చికిత్స అందించడం మాత్రమే కాకుండా.. ఈ దాడి తర్వాత రాప్తాడు బాలికలు షాక్ కు గురైన నేపథ్యంలో.. నారా లోకేష్ కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. విద్యార్థుల్లో ధైర్యాన్నింపడానికి మంత్రి లోకేష్ సూచనలు చేయడంతో.. అధికారులు మెంటల్ హెల్త్ కౌన్సిలర్లను నియమించారు. ఏకంగా 20 మందితో కూడిన ఆ బృందం గ్రామంలోని పదవ తరగతి బాలికల ఇళ్లకు తిరిగింది. కౌన్సిలింగ్ ఇచ్చింది. వారిలో ధైర్యం నింపింది. తిరిగి పాఠశాలకు వెళ్లే విధంగా మనోధైర్యం కల్పించింది.
“మాతోటి విద్యార్థిని పై ఆ స్థాయిలో దాడి జరగడం ఆందోళన కలిగిస్తోంది. ఆమె రక్తపు మడుగులో ఉండడం ఇప్పటికీ మా కళ్ళల్లో కనిపిస్తోంది. కాకపోతే మాలో ఉన్న భయాన్ని పారదోలడానికి ఉదయాన్నే ఉపాధ్యాయులు వచ్చారు. మాలో ధైర్యాన్ని నింపారు. భయాన్ని దూరం చేశారు.. లోకేష్ సార్ మా కోసం ప్రత్యేకంగా దృష్టి పెట్టి ఇంత చేశారని” విద్యార్థులు చెబుతున్నారు.
Update –
The doctors at Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru, have confirmed that both the orthopaedic and plastic surgeries performed on the young girl who was brutally attacked in Rapthadu, Andhra Pradesh, have been successful. She has now been shifted to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for close monitoring. My heartfelt gratitude to the medical team working tirelessly to save her life. Our government stands firmly with the family and will ensure that the child receives the best possible medical care and all necessary support throughout her recovery. I will be visiting the hospital this afternoon to take stock of the progress personally and to speak to the doctors.

Following the deeply disturbing incident at Rapthadu, our priority is to ensure that every affected child feels safe and supported.
We have deployed a dedicated team of 20 mental health counsellors who are visiting the homes of all 32 students of Class X-A, as well as girl students of Classes 8, 9 and 10. They are speaking with the children and their parents, offering emotional support and helping them cope with the trauma.
No child should have to live or learn in fear. We will continue to stand by these children and their families, helping them regain their confidence and return to school feeling safe and secure. Their well-being remains our utmost priority.
