అహ్మదాబాద్లో దారుణమైన విమాన ప్రమాదం చోటుచేసుకుంది. గురువారం మధ్యాహ్నం బీజే మెడికల్ కాలేజీ హాస్టల్ కాంటీన్ పైకి ఓ ప్రయాణికుల విమానం కుప్పకూలింది. ఈ సమయంలో కాంటీన్లో చాలా మంది ఎంబిబిఎస్ విద్యార్థులు భోజనం చేస్తున్నట్టు తెలుస్తోంది. ఘటనా స్థలంలో ఆకాశాన్ని కమ్ముకున్న దట్టమైన పొగ, మంటలు.. తీవ్ర విషాదాన్ని మిగిలించాయి.

ప్రాథమిక సమాచారం ప్రకారం.. ఈ ప్రమాదంలో 20మందికి పైగా విద్యార్థులు ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. రెస్క్యూ టీమ్స్ ఘటనాస్థలానికి చేరుకుని మంటలను ఆర్పే ప్రయత్నాలు చేస్తున్నాయి. కాగా క్షతగాత్రులను సమీప ఆసుపత్రులకు తరలించారు. విద్యార్థుల కుటుంబ సభ్యులు, స్నేహితులు తీవ్ర విషాదంలో మునిగిపోయారు. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వంతో పాటు కేంద్రం కూడా ఈ ఘటనపై స్పందించింది. ప్రధాని, గుజరాత్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఈ ప్రమాదంపై దిగ్భ్రాంతి వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
