Senior Indian National Congress (INC) leader Kripashankar Singh on Monday resigned from the party. He submitted his resignation to Congress Maharashtra in-charge Mallikarjun Kharge in Delhi. Earlier this month, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray visited Singh's residence. According to reports, Singh is likely to join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) or Shiv Sena. He was the minister of state for Home in Vilasrao Deshmukh cabinet. His was involved in the Congress gain in Mumbai against Shiv Sena in 2009 elections. Over 120 c to Quit as Party Chief.
